Tyre TypeThe BMW CE 04 is a revolutionary electric scooter that redefines urban mobility with its avant-garde design, powerful performance, and cutting-edge technology. It's built for the modern city commuter who values style, sustainability, and seamless connectivity.
The BMW CE 04 is not just an electric scooter; it's a statement. With a design that looks like it rode straight out of a science fiction film, this maxi-scooter is BMW's bold vision for the future of urban mobility. It's designed for the tech-savvy, environmentally conscious rider who navigates the dynamic cityscapes of Bangladesh and wants to stand out while doing it. The CE 04 combines silent, emission-free travel with exhilarating performance and unparalleled connectivity.
The first thing you notice about the CE 04 is its long, low-slung, and futuristic profile. The design is dominated by clean lines, ample surfaces, and a distinctive 'floating' seat. This isn't just for looks; the layout is dictated by its innovative engineering, with the slim 8.9 kWh battery pack housed in the underfloor, creating a very low center of gravity. This translates to surprisingly agile and stable handling, despite its 231 kg weight. The 780 mm seat height is accessible, and the long bench-style seat offers plenty of room to find a comfortable riding position.
At its core, the CE 04 features a permanent-magnet, liquid-cooled synchronous motor derived from BMW's automotive division. It delivers a potent 42 hp (31 kW) of maximum power and an instantaneous torque of 62 Nm. This allows the scooter to accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in a swift 2.6 seconds, leaving most city traffic behind. The top speed is electronically limited to a very capable 120 km/h, making it suitable for both city streets and highway commutes. Power is delivered to the rear wheel via a clean and low-maintenance toothed belt drive.
The high-voltage 8.9 kWh battery provides a generous range of approximately 130 km as per WMTC tests, which is more than enough for daily urban travel. When it's time to recharge, a standard home socket will take it from 0-100% in about 4 hours and 20 minutes. For those in a hurry, an optional fast charger can reduce that time to just 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The CE 04 is a tech powerhouse. The dashboard is a stunning 10.25-inch TFT color display with integrated map navigation and full smartphone connectivity via the BMW Motorrad Connected app. This screen can be split to show vehicle information and navigation simultaneously. Standard features include Keyless Ride, three riding modes (ECO, Rain, and Road), Automatic Stability Control (ASC), and a ventilated smartphone storage compartment with a USB-C charging port. For added safety, it features a powerful dual-disc front brake setup with the latest generation of BMW Motorrad ABS.
